An introduction. David Lodge's 'How far can you go?' and 'Nice work', 5 entries in the bibliography, language: English, abstract: The aim of this paper is it to find out what happens when the world of academia meets the world of industry, therefore when Robyn Penrose as a lecturer of English Literature meets Victor Wilcox, who is a Managing Director in a factory.
