Besides a detailed report on the International IBS2 Travelling Exhibition, this book presents in 23 chapters all the wave panels of the large community quilt Water for the World, which was crafted with the blocks donated by the IBS2 participants. In addition, all submitted motifs are shown, a total of 170 blocks of quilters from 20 nations. Each chapter also features one exemplary block pattern for a certain water theme and/or sewing technique as a source of inspiration for own quilt projects.
