Like many others, I have always been drawn to the story of the Titanic. It is like a fairy tale, a love story, a disaster and a tragedy all rolled into one, with stories of heroics, cowardice, desperation and separation. Disaster stories are often retold through the generations however, the Titanic story is something else. A hundred years has passed since that fateful night where she sunk, alone in the Atlantic Ocean and the story is as alive as ever. Stories have been romanticised over the years, I however, wanted to know the truth, the facts of what caused this beautiful ship to sink on her maiden voyage. What follows is what I have found out. My particular interest lies in the errors of judgement of men that make this 'natural' disaster less than natural
