Mystery or secret shopping as it is sometimes known, has grown from strength to strength in recent years. It involves posing a real customer to try a product or service then reporting back on the experience. A company will use this information to measure their customer service and if necessary, improve it.

Shoppers come from all walks of life. It doesn’t matter how old you are, whether you are already working or not, if you are single or married, or where you live. Someone somewhere would like to know what you think of their product or service, and will pay you for your feedback.

I’ve been doing this job for around fifteen years now, and still enjoy it as much as I did when I started. I was never asked to pay anyone a fee to sign up with their company or for information on the topic, and I don’t plan on charging for this article at any time. Please feel free to download and share it.
