The Six Swans is a fairy tale written by German brothers, academics, linguists, and cultural researchers Wilhelm and Jacob Grimm and collected under number 49. They were among the best-known storytellers of folk tales, and popularized stories such as "Cinderella", "Hansel and Gretel" , "Rapunzel", and "Snow White" .
