Dee Carter thinks that she in on her way to getting the perfect life she has always dreamed of having. She has found a job she loves and thinks she has found her “Mr. Right.” Things are going great until Precious Jewels, the store where she works, is robbed by four masked men.
FBI agent Derrick Branch is assigned to investigate the robbery. He has heard too many suspects proclaim their innocence. He suspects Dee may have been guilty of participating in the theft.
In the meantime Dee keeps having her apartment broken into. She can’t figure out what the burglars want. When a dead body, stolen from a local morgue, is found in her s bed wearing one of Precious Jewels’ stolen watches, she has had enough. She wants to move out of her apartment.
Derrick can’t quite put his finger on it, but the continued break- ins at Dee’s apartment are suspicious. Derrick begins to wonder if the woman he is slowly becoming attracted to is being set up. Can he solve the case before Dee, the woman he is falling in love with, is convicted of a crime she didn’t commit?
