Hi there, I'm Pearl Howie (aka Pearl Escapes) and this is my guide to travelling around Tuscany with teenagers. People often think of teenagers as difficult or complaining, well I have to say that we had more travel snarl ups on this trip than I've had on the rest put together and the girls were uncomplaining, patient and more grown up than most grown ups (although those eyes looking up at me on the delayed British Airways flight begging "will we actually get there" will haunt me for a bit). I started writing these guides because I used to get extremely burned out in my old job and couldn't even handle finding and booking a hotel and flight or finding what to do when I did take time off (I could never have planned this trip!) So, I thought "wouldn't it be awesome if someone would write a guide that just gave you one perfect escape; the perfect hotel, spa, flight and restaurant." So that's what I did.
