When I was twelve, war ravaged the earth. I lost everything I knew - family, friends, school, my home. Now I all I have are faint memories and Mr. Wong, a long-time family friend. He is now my mentor, my protector and my only friend. He taught me to survive this new world as we traveled from place to place avoiding civilization, he said it was for my protection. But why?
Now, at seventeen, I am confident and strong, at least I was until Thuron entered my life. Then everything I thought I knew, or believed, was shattered. My life had been a lie.
