What does it mean-to "live a legacy"? What is a legacy, anyway?

A legacy is something passed down by those who lived before you did. It could be property or money or anything else of value.

As members of the Church, our legacy isn't wealth-it's something more important: our PIONEER HERITAGE, the SCRIPTURES, and our UNDERSTANDING OF THE SAVIOR AND HIS GOSPEL. These are the things that have been preserved for you and me-often at great sacrifice.

This book is a collection of talks given to youth by favorite speakers about the things we treasure. All of the contributors have had interesting experiences, and they make their points by telling about things like enduring their first dates, going to school, playing sports, and even such exciting things as scuba diving, flying in a jet fighter plane, learning to be a ballerina, and helicopter skiing.

These speakers know what it's like to be young-full of life ad full of questions-and they explain in ways you'll understand how to live a happy life and what it means to be "true to the faith that our parents have cherished."

It's a legacy you can live with.
