"What touches me so deeply about this beautiful story is that it is real, it is true, and at the same time it is supernatural. Jesus is so much part of this book; the tragedy, the pain and the incredible victory! It has increased my faith so much, and reminded me that our final home is not here on earth, but it is in Heaven."
Angus Buchan, Author of "Faith Like Potatoes"

Peace and joy in a time of sorrow

At some point in life every person is faced with the loss of a loved one - a parent, a spouse, a friend. Perhaps the most difficult loss to deal with is the untimely death of a child. With a child it is not only the loss of a loved one, but also the loss of a dream, an expectation and unfulfilled future potential. Questions may arise as to where God is in the midst of these tragic events. Could it really be His will? Is it possible to again know peace and joy after the death of a loved one? These are the questions that Albert and Zandré de Villiers were faced with after the death of their two older children Zanmaré (9) and Pieter (6) in a motorcar accident.

Albert and Zandré’s testimony is “Yes, it is possible,” because that is exactly what God did for them, in a supernatural way.
“I don’t believe, I KNOW” isn’t a guide-book for how to deal with loss, as every person’s walk with God is unique. It is the testimony of two people, a daddy and a mommy, that experienced God’s grace and His presence in a very special way after the death of their two beloved children. Although every person’s walk with the Lord is unique, it is still the same God whose promise to each of us is “I’ll never leave you. I’ll never forsake you.”

Albert and Zandré have come to rely on the Lord in every area of their lives, and He has never failed them yet. They know Him as a God who loves, protects, provides, heals and intervenes, often miraculously. But above all, He is a God who is present. In “I don’t believe, I KNOW” they share their journey of faith and trust. This book and the testimonies of God’s faithfulness will encourage you and strengthen your faith and invite the reader to a closer walk with God.
