How to raise a real man not a pimp offers a down-to-earth perspective and resolution for parents raising boys, especially struggling single parents trying to raise their sons. This book explains the existence of a pimp generation and a parenting style called a Momma Ho. The book is full of information and insights that will help parents raise real men instead of members of the pimp generation. This book is about our younger generation of men and their parents. We are not raising real men; instead we are turning boys out. Too many of them are living off their parents, grandparents, or girlfriends. It’s a trend that has developed into what I call the pimp generation. These young men want the females to do everything. They want them to go to school and get an education, and then they want them to work, cook, clean and take out the trash. Meanwhile the young men are chilling on the couch with the remote. The only time they move is to eat or go the bathroom. I call their behavior pimping. These adult boys are raised by parents that are not in the parental driver seat. The boy is in the driver seat and the parent is riding shotgun with no control or authority. Too many of these boys are living off their mother, grandmother, or girlfriend. That's what this book is about: Parents regaining their control.
