I had always quite fancied Maria, but had never made a move. We flirted, but I tend to flirt with women, anyway, and I never thought anything of it. I had always thought she was a bit out of my league, to be honest, and consoled myself with fancying her from afar. When we were arranging out night out, therefore, and she said in an email that I could stay at hers if I wanted to, I gave a slightly flirty response, but also said that she didn’t need to go to the trouble – I could always get the last train home, or lay off the drinks and drive.

“Oh, so my bed’s not good enough for you?” came her next email.

“I can think of nothing I’d rather do than stay in your bed,” I replied, assuming we were talking about her spare bed, but wanting to keep it just a little ambiguous.

So it was fixed. I drove down in the early evening, parked up near her house, and rang the bell ...

Even after that, I wasn't expecting anything; but once Maria showed me that she was as hot for me as I was for her, her spare room became the scene for a hot night of sex, when I finally got my hands on my friend's firm little body.
