There comes a time in life when you pause to reflect on your life experience. While God chooses the family we are born into and has a plan for our lives, we can accept His choice or fight it. Growing up can be challenging and confusing, especially when you have an alcoholic parent, fighting relatives, school bullies and are punished for having fun. Through it all, God has been with me, watching and waiting for me to open my heart and my eyes to the greatest blessings in my life. For years I have dreamed of writing a book. During the winter of 2009, when I was unemployed and searching for something more, God showed me it was time to tell my story. He gave me the words to write. For Such a Time as This shares the lessons I've learned through the story God has given me.
