Chikadibia's grandmother is an ardent believer in reincarnation and believes Chikadibia also called Chiamaka is the reincarnate of her dead husband. She strives to make him live his life like her husband and even ensures he studies the same course her husband Old Godogodo studied in the university. Later, Chikadibia realizes who he really is and why the destiny of the whole Igbo race is really hanging on the head of his family.
