One summer, Vince Marsali and his wife Marie made the decision that they would take their summer vacation at a dude ranch. During the winter months it was a ski resort, and during the summer months it was a dude ranch where people could stay for a week and go horseback riding and river rafting down the Colorado River. This started their adventures into staying at dude ranches, experiencing not only their first stay at this one in Colorado, but also a number of dude ranches in the following three years.
