Buried With Secrets takes place in the fictional town of WicksHaven, Arizona. The story is about five estranged friends: Tucker, Stacy, Richard, Jessica and Bianca. They are trying to survive their last two years of high school after their friend, Lauren Valdez, dies in a car explosion. Things begin to get weird after Lauren's funeral, as they start to receive strange phone calls, text messages and notes from an unknown person. The stranger informs them that he is Lauren Valdez's Killer and that he killed her because she couldn't keep her mouth shut. At the end of the story, they all learn that they have to play by this stranger's rules or then it's game over.
