Basque Money continues from the cliffhanger in The SeaOx. The SeaOx ended with Andre Laurent witnessing Pelling and Ruth attempting to escape. Laurent went aboard Pelling’s boat, the Bijou, docked at a marina in Lisbon and shot Pelling in the right wrist and the left knee.
