This is an index to the autobiography of Vera Ernst McNichol who gained national prominence as a medium helping law enforcement to locate missing persons and bodies.  Published in five volumes, Smiling Through Tears outlines the life of a wife, nurse and medium in South Western Ontario.  This index is meant to make it easier to locate the stories related to your friends and family.

The index of the series Smiling Through Tears – An Autobiography is arranged so that the first number refers to the volume, followed by the page references, each comma denotes another entry.  For example 4-23, would mean that the reference can be found in Volume 4, Page 23.  The names are arranged in alphabetical order and I do apologize that there are no short cuts, but as life will teach us – there seldom are.
