A Tale Of The Tontlawald is an Estonian fairy tale included it in The Violet Fairy Book. Tontlawald is dark, ominous forest. No one ever ventured there. Once a bold peasant who had wandered farther than most came back with the tale of a ruined house and men-like creatures. No one believed him. One day, the children were gathering strawberries when a boy realized they were in the Tontlawald. Kids ran off. All of them, but Elsa, the peasant’s daughter.
