A writing prompt is an idea to inspire you to write. It is a starting point for those times when you are feeling stuck, when you don’t know what to write, or when you simply want something spontaneous to write about. A prompt can be anything~ it can be a painting that inspires you to write a story about it. It can be a song that you want to make into a short story. In this book, I’m going to give you 100 writing prompts to get you started. Use them when you feel the dreaded “writer’s block”, or when you want a random topic to write about.
